Quick answer

Ask for spelling, punctuation and clarity improvements without summarizing or adding facts. Compare the suggestion with the original, especially names, numbers, dates and negations. TwocyAI shows writing suggestions in the capture description and saves the change only when you apply it.

Decide what should improve and what must stay

A short message can contain abbreviations and still make sense to the people in the conversation. Days later, it may need clearer sentences and punctuation to work as a reference. A revision should not turn a question into a decision or a possibility into a commitment.

“Check with Alex if delivery tomorrow works” does not mean “Alex will deliver tomorrow.” The condition must remain. Do not accept a rewrite that assigns an owner the original did not specify.

Rewriting, summarizing and explaining are different tasks. Improving writing should make the text easier to read. A summary selects information to omit. An unclear instruction may require asking its author rather than interpreting it through AI.

Review the suggestion inside the capture description

  1. Open the capture in the library.
  2. In the TwocyAI menu, choose Improve writing when available on your plan.
  3. Read the suggested description and compare it using View original.
  4. Edit the suggestion if needed, then choose Apply or Discard.

Title generation is separate. Improving writing reviews the description and does not automatically save the suggestion while you compare it. After applying, the notice provides an undo option.

If the content changed during generation or the review fails, keep the original and retry after checking the capture. You can also report an inappropriate AI response using the result's reporting control.

Compare facts and intent, not just wording

Consider this example: “tomorrow 2 pm go to the print shop with Alex, budget $150. don't pay before approval.” A clearer version might be: “Tomorrow at 2 pm, go to the print shop with Alex. The budget is $150. Do not pay before approval.”

The edit preserves the time, amount, person and restriction. “Tomorrow” still depends on the original message date, and the approval owner still requires context. Rewriting must not resolve those gaps by inventing a date or name.

  • People: are the names and owners unchanged?
  • Amounts: are the numbers, units, signs and currencies intact?
  • Dates: was a relative deadline interpreted without verification?
  • Conditions: do “not,” “if” and “before” keep their effect?
  • Sources: are URLs and code blocks still correct?

Review what needs to be sent as well

Send only the material needed for an AI task. Consider editing unnecessary sensitive details out of a capture before requesting a revision. Read the Twocy privacy policy for providers and data handling.

Product safeguards do not guarantee that every meaning change will be detected. Human review matters especially for financial instructions, personal data and commitments. Keeping an already clear original is also a reasonable choice.

After reviewing, choose a destination you can find again. For chat snippets, see saving WhatsApp messages on your PC. For organizing the library, start with the central guide.

An instruction for reviewing a message

Improve spelling, punctuation and clarity without summarizing or adding facts. Preserve names, owners, numbers, currencies, dates, times, URLs, code, negations and conditions. Keep the original language and any ambiguity that requires context. Do not create commitments. Return only the revised text.

Frequently asked questions

Is more formal writing always better?

No. The goal is clarity for your intended use while preserving the necessary tone and meaning.

Should I check the result even when numbers are protected?

Yes. Correct numbers do not prove that owners, conditions and intent were preserved.

Try it with something you want to save.

Choose a useful snippet, save it in the right context and find it again in your library.
