Terms of use
These terms are the agreement between you and SPEAR DIGITAL HOLDING, Brazilian company registration (CNPJ) 49.000.665/0001-94, RJFG 105, Centro, Jaguaruna, Santa Catarina, Brazil ("Twocy", "we"), for using the Windows app, the web app and this website. By creating an account you agree to them and to the Privacy policy.
1. The service
Twocy is a place to save and find again what you capture on your computer: text, links, screenshots, files, audio and emails, organized in spaces and folders, with voice and AI features and the option to share spaces with other people. New features may arrive and some may change or be removed; if that affects what you pay, we will tell you first.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older, or 13 or older with a parent's or guardian's permission (or the minimum age in your country, if higher).
- Use an email address that is yours and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- If you notice access that was not you, change your password and email suporte@twocy.app.
3. Plans
- Free: free, with limits. Today: 30 saved captures, 15 voice minutes per month, 3 personal spaces, 1 shared space with up to 3 people and files up to 10 MB, without AI features. When you reach a limit nothing is deleted: everything stays available to view, search and export.
- Pro: US$ 4.99 per month or US$ 49.90 per year (R$ 14.90 / R$ 149.90 in Brazil), with unlimited captures and spaces (up to 10 people per space), files up to 100 MB, 5 GB of storage, AI, email to Twocy and the other features listed on the pricing page.
- Dictation and transcription share a monthly allowance: 15 minutes on Free and 150 minutes on Pro, including yearly subscriptions. Pro AI has a monthly allowance, with no automatic extra charges. When the allowance runs out, captures, search and manual organization remain available.
- Limits and prices may change. A price increase only applies from the next renewal, with at least 30 days' notice.
4. Payment, renewal and cancellation
- Pro is billed in advance through Stripe and renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Local taxes may apply.
- You can cancel at any time inside your account (Settings → Plan & usage → Manage subscription). Pro stays active until the end of the paid period and then the account returns to Free.
- 7-day guarantee: if you cancel within 7 days of your first subscription, we refund the full amount. Just email suporte@twocy.app or use the help chat. This does not limit any other right you have under your local consumer law.
- If a payment fails, we retry for a few days; if it still fails, the account returns to Free without losing anything.
- When you delete your account, the subscription is canceled immediately and there are no further charges.
5. What is yours
Everything you save remains yours. You only give us the permission needed to store, process and show that content to you and to the people you invited. You can export everything as a .zip and delete your account at any time. The Twocy brand, app and website are ours.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Twocy to:
- store or share illegal content, content that infringes other people's rights (including copyright) or that exploits minors;
- distribute malware or spam, or try to break into, overload or get around the service's limits;
- resell the service or create accounts in bulk;
- harass or expose people in shared spaces.
If this happens, we may remove the content and block or close the account, letting you know whenever the law allows.
7. Shared spaces
Whoever creates a space owns it: they decide who joins, who can edit and who can only view, and can remove people. What someone adds to a space is visible to all members. If you leave a space, you lose access to what is in it.
8. Artificial intelligence
Transcription and TwocyAI generate text automatically and can be wrong. Check before relying on something important. TwocyAI only suggests: nothing in your captures changes without your confirmation.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep Twocy running at all times and we make backups, but the service may be unavailable due to maintenance or failures. We recommend exporting what is essential from time to time. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.
10. Termination
You can delete your account whenever you want (Settings → Data → Delete my account). If we shut down the service, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can export everything, and we will refund the unused part of the paid period.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change something important, we will let you know by email or inside the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Twocy after that means you accept the new version.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in the courts where you live and you keep the mandatory protections of your local law.
